August 11, 2003 The three "Heart Sons" of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche arrived in New York the week of August 10, called there by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. Coming all the way from Kham for the occasion, Karma Kuchen Rinpoche joined Khentul Gyangthang Rinpoche and Mugsang Rinpoche with His Holiness at the Upstate US Center.

Already at the center were Chonjur Rinpoche and Ogyen Rinpoche, who attended the 2003 US Summer Retreat.

Khentul Gyangkhang Rinpoche has been requested to schedule a teaching program in the US. Plans are in formulation but the teaching dates have been posted.

In addition to these high lamas, Ringo Tulku Rinpoche, who heads the Palyul Nyingma Monastery in Bir, Himatchl Pradesh, India, also joined the sangha visiting His Holiness Penor Rinpoche at the center.

and Khenpo Tenzin Norgey

Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche as well as Khenpo Tenzin Norgey have also stayed on, past the summer retreat.

These lamas attended the New York teaching program on August 15 to 17.
